This 45 gallon pressurized expansion tank is designed to absorb the expansion forces and control the pressure in heating and cooling systems. It is an ASME Section VIII fixed bladder type precharged expansion tank. The excess water is contained in the heavy duty butyl bladder preventing tank corrosion and waterlogging problems. Maximum pressure of 125 psi (8.5 bar).
